Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiologists use a variety of active treatments to assist in prevention, recovery and maintenance of chronic conditions. Exercise is an important part of any recovery from musculoskeletal injury. JB HealthCare therapists utilise a wide range of exercise modalities including hydrotherapy, pilates, core strengthening, work and functional specific exercises, post-surgical rehabilitation as well as cardiovascular and interval training for weight management. JB HealthCare also employs personal trainers who can help people with weight loss, muscle gain, fitness and lifestyle issues. |
Podiatry
The use of foot orthotics can help maintain the normal alignment of the joints in the foot, lower limb, pelvis and lower back. Common joint and muscle related conditions can often be related to biomechanic changes in the foot and ankle. JB HealthCares' Podiatrists are trained in the assessment of common foot conditions and lower limb biomechanics. Patients can be assessed and provided with custom-fitted orthotics within our clinic. Patient's who are members of private health funds may be eligible for rebates. |
